HHS track squads compete at Bloomer, Barron

The Hayward Hurricanes track and field teams competed in the Dave Landgraf Invitational at Bloomer High School Tuesday April 30, where the HHS boys finished first out of 16 teams and the HHS girls took fourth out of 14 teams.

Boys top finishers:

First places: 4 X 400m relay (Lucas Hansen, Gannon Mohr, Cade Schlapper, Ben Laird), 3:36.23.

Second places: Lucas Hansen, 300m hurdles, 40.66; Bradley Young, high jump, 5-10; Gannon Mohr, triple jump, 38-07.75; Bradey Gottwald, discus throw, 140-03;4 X 800m relay (Evan McConnell, Austin Ewert, Cade Schlapper, Ben Laird), 8:36.70.

Barron Invite

On Monday April 29, the Hurricane JV competed at Barron, there the HHS girls placed fourth out of five teams and the boys placed fifth out of five teams.
