Leida, 34, was charged with theft in a business setting, wire fraud against a financial institution and bail jumping in Juneau County, Wisconsin, on May 8, according to legal records viewed by In Touch.
Marshfield woman takes on 11 foster dogs surrendered to pet shelter
WAUSAU, Wis. (WSAW) - It’s been a “ruff” go of it for the Marshfield Area Pet Shelter, or MAPS which recently received 11 dogs in one visit. A mother with two six-month-old puppies and eight four-day-old puppies were taken in. According to MAPS Executive Director Karen Rau, they take in around 800 animals a year, and this recent batch is another wild task for the shelter.

I spent the last couple of weeks talking with business owners along that stretch of highway about how the construction has affected their business, and I talked with village staff, the Plover Area Convention and Visitors Bureau and the Portage County Business Council to see how they've worked to make sure people know how to get to those businesses. Some places have seen their business drop by almost half of their normal profits, while other places have seen little to no change. Construction will continue through November.
