K9 pursuit following Monroe County car crash leads to arrest of two men
WARRENS, Wis – The Monroe County Sheriff’s Office reports on Wednesday May 15 at approximately 8:36 p.m., Monroe County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to a reported rollover traffic crash on State Highway 173 near Coyote Ave, Warrens. A passenger car was headed north on State Highway 173 when it left the roadway. The vehicle entered the ditch where it overturned and landed on all four wheels. The driver and passenger fled from the vehicle when a citizen stopped to help. Monroe County Sheriff’s Office K9 Rebel and his handler responded to the scene and started a track of the suspects.

HIXTON, Wis. (WEAU) - No one is reported to be hurt following a camper explosion near Hixton. According to a press release from Hixton Fire & Rescue, on May 17, 2024 at 5:04 a.m., Hixton Fire & Rescue responded to N9657 State Highway 95, KOA Campground, for a reported camper explosion and fire.
