Times office to close, newspaper will continue
For the first time in 150 years, there will not be a newspaper office in Whitehall, however readers of the Times shouldn’t expect major changes to the publication itself. Due to a changing business model, the Trempealeau County Times office – located on Main St. in Whitehall – will close at the end of March. The newspaper itself, however, will remain and continue to be printed in Black Earth, just as it has since its creation when the Whitehall Times, Arcadia News-Leader and Galesville Republican merged at the start of 2011.
