Weird Weekend, Active Weather Ahead
Good Morning. This weekend is going to be a rollercoaster. Today, we start off having retained some of yesterday's heat, so the morning is nice and warm. Cloud cover is building as a system shoots by from the West and breaks down the ridge of high pressure that brought all of yesterday's sunshine. Expect darkening clouds through the entire day. Temps will remain high today with mid to high 70's inland and low 60's on the Coast. Tomorrow, a much more powerful system arrives tied to an atmospheric river. So, starting late tonight, rainfall will begin and will not stop all the way through Monday afternoon. Current projections show anomalously high rainfall totals for this time of year. Temps will fall into Sunday but not aggressively.
