Mother's Day 2024 in Binghamton: Where to find brunch, tea, live music and yoga

Making last-minute Mother's Day plans? While Binghamton University's commencement ceremonies end on Saturday this year and won't conflict with the big day, reservations are filling up throughout the holiday weekend.

We've put together a list of events that are either still accepting reservations or accept walk-ins.

Moms deserve a day of pampering and appreciation for all they do, so here are some ways to treat her.

Mother's Day brunches, sips in Binghamton area

Mother's Day Brunch at Lost Dog Café : Don’t miss the rare chance to dine at Lost Dog Café on a Sunday. Moms get a free mimosa on the house while browsing the Saturday brunch menu and specials from Chef Josh. The best part is there are no reservations needed, walk-ins all day, doors open at 10 a.m.

Mother's Day at the Farm : Less than a 15-minute drive from downtown Binghamton, Farm by Beer Tree Brew will be hosting an all-day event this Mother’s Day. Live music from Steve Romer will be from noon to 3 p.m. and a live bouquet bar will be available from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. by Soulshine Farm. A special menu and drinks will also be available the event will be from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. No reservations needed, just show up.

Rose Day : Southbridge Wines & Spirits will host a wine tasting from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday with giveaways, catered barbecue and t-shirt raffles. The first 25 guests to arrive will get a pink, long stem rose.

Mother's Day Tea: Phelps Mansion Museum will host their second annual Mother's Day Tea this Saturday from noon to 2 p.m. Space is limited, to reserve your spot, visit phelpsmansion .org, tickets are $25 per guest. The menu will include tea sandwiches, fresh fruit, cookies, mini cupcakes, gluten-free options and mini cheesecake. Guests 21 and older will receive a free mimosa. Don't miss out on the raffle baskets, mansion tours, photo booth and live piano music.

Mother's Day Jazz Brunch : Food & Fire will host a Mother's Day Jazz Brunch with music from Carbone and Melnky. Brunch will be from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. with live jazz performance from noon to 2 p.m. Due to the holiday and graduation weekend, reservations are recommended but not required.

Atrio Mother's Day Buffet : In Endicott, Atrio Banquets will be hosting a buffet this Mother's Day. The menu will include marinated beef tenderloin, baked ham, oven roasted potatoes and seasoned green beans. Cost is $26.95 plus tax for adults and seniors and $19.95 for kids 10 years old and under. Mother's Day activities in the Binghamton area

Mommy & Me Spa Day : I Dance with Miss Mikaila will hosta day of pampering and fun this Saturday from 12:30-2:30 p.m . Mommy & Me Spa Day includes facials, a nail bar, mocktails, snacks and music. Cost is $40 for one mommy-and-kid pair, additional children are $5. Visit the studio's Facebook page to order customized robes to wear for the event, kids' robes are $25 and adult robes are $35.

Mother's Day Weekend at Animal Adventure Park : Animal Adventure and The Preserve are hosting a three-day event May 10-12. Bring your family and come out to see the animals, moms get in for free. Animal Adventure Park will be open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. with last admission at 4 p.m. The Preserve will be operating during the same hours, their last admission will be at 3 p.m. Visit visitaap.com/ for more details and information about each park.

Mother's Day Farmers Market : Ross Park Zoo will host a farmers market this Sunday from noon to 4 p.m. in the pavilion area of the Ross Park campus. Wild Birds Unlimited will have a special pop-up shop and there will be 18 vendors selling home décor, gemstone jewelry and natural skincare products. The zoo will be open from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., last admission will be at 3 p.m. To celebrate, moms receive free admission all day. Children 2 and under get in for free, children 3-12 are $5 and children 13 and older are $7.

Mother's Day Hot Yoga & Restorative Yoga : Yoga Body Shop will host a free hot yoga class from 10:15 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. on Mother's Day. Spots are limited for a restorative yoga class from 12:15 p.m. to 1:15 p.m. To reserve a spot visit yogabodyshop.com to sign up. Don't forget to pack your yoga mat, towel and water. If you don't have a mat, rentals will be available for a fee.
