Maryland Weather: Rounds of showers and storms roll in
BALTIMORE- Clouds persist this afternoon with light rain still lingering in the region. Rain is breaking apart a little ahead of schedule, so expect periods of dry a little closer to the noon hour today. We are already close to our daytime high settled into the lower to middle 60s.Highs reach the lower to middle 60s this afternoon under cloudy and rainy skies. A spotty chance at a thunderstorms remains in our forecast, but this is mainly to the west of I-81. Rain tapers into the evening giving us a chance of dry.Lows tonight drop into the 50s.Sunday, we will see a repeat in the forecast for the first half of the day, but things will begin to dry out by evening.Monday brings dry conditions back into our forecast with sunshine and the 80s expected Tuesday.

Police seek help identifying suspect's vehicle in Southeast shooting
WASHINGTON (7News) — Metropolitan Police Department detectives are seeking the community's help to identify a vehicle allegedly tied to a southeast D.C. shooting. Officers found a person suffering from gunshot wounds on Thursday, May 16 at 11:27 p.m. after hearing several gunshots around the 200 block of 37th street. In a recent forecast update, meteorologists have announced an 80% chance of showers today, possibly escalating to thunderstorms after 2 p.m. Temperates are set to hover near 63 degrees, a slight relief, but accompanied by a consistent east wind moving at 5 to 7 mph, according to the National Weather Service.

The wheelchair is too heavy to take inside, so the family leaves it covered in front of their Silver Spring home. When the boy’s mother exited the home Wednesday morning, the wheelchair wasn’t there.
