Second round of candidate filings begins Tuesday
Voters in the 2024 general election will soon have their ballots finalized after the second round of candidate filings concludes on Aug. 13 at 5 p.m. Beginning on Tuesday, July 30, any races that did not have the possibility of requiring a primary election will open for candidate filings, with the deadline being Aug. 13 at 5 p.m. Locally, those races include North Branch and Braham city council and mayor, plus all three school boards.
