    Amtrak train and ATV collided in Berlin

    BERLIN, Conn. (WTNH) — Emergency officials in Berlin are responding to a crash between an ATV and an Amtrak train.

    According to the Berlin Police Department, responders were called to Norton Ln. at 10:45 a.m. where they witnessed an ATV and Amtrak train on fire after a collision had occurred.

    Police say the ATV was unoccupied and no injuries have been reported.

    The state’s Department of Transportation shared that 20 passengers were on the train at the time of the accident. No passengers were injured. The department is also warning travelers to expect delays as state and local officials are investigating the scene.
