Orangeville, Pa. — A 23-year-old woman is in critical condition after a crash along State Route 487 Saturday afternoon.

Destiny M. Gearh of Benton was driving a 2003 Acura south on SR 487 near Fishing Creek Campground when she lost control of the car on a curve, according to Trp. Brandon Welch of state police at Bloomsburg.

Gearh's vehicle slid into the oncoming lane and into the path of 2020 Ford F250 driven by 64-year-old Donna Richard of Newton, NJ just after 3:30 p.m. Geahr was seriously injured and unresponsive after the collision. She was taken by ambulance to Geisinger Medical Center in Danville, officials say.

Richard and her passenger, 66-year-old John Richard, of Butler, NJ, were not injured, Welch said.
