Expect a day filled with sunshine and warm temperatures
CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo. (KFVS) - Happy Thursday heartland! Our afternoon is looking calm after yesterday’s strong storms. Now there is still a Flood Warning in effect for the Mississippi River until Thursday, May 16th. This could cause minor flooding for residents in Southern IL and Southeast MO. Expect to see sunny skies and a little less humidity for today. Highs sitting in the upper 70s to low 80s for most places, along with a light breeze coming out of the west. Tomorrow will be another day of nice sunny conditions, but a very small chance to see a few quick isolated showers by Friday evening. This weekend we will see dry conditions with temperatures starting off in the mid 70s and warming up into the low 80s by Sunday.
