York County Sheriff’s Office identifies three killed in crash at Highway 81/Highway 34 east junction in York
YORK, Neb. (KOLN) - The York County Sheriff’s Office identified the three people killed in a crash at the Highway 81/Highway 34 East Junction in York Friday night. Deputies received multiple reports of a crash between a semi-truck and a SUV at 8:30 p.m. According to the sheriff’s office, 62-year-old Randall Wheeler and 69-year-old Janniee Wheeler of York, and 70-year-old Rita Beins of Lincoln, occupants of the SUV, were pronounced dead at the scene. A fourth occupant of the SUV, along with two occupants in the semi-truck, were transported to York General Hospital for injuries sustained during the crash.
