Riley County police arrest Conway Springs man in connection with drug crime
MANHATTAN, Kan. (WIBW) - Riley County police arrested a man in connection with drug crime on Sunday afternoon, authorities said. The arrested man, Trevor Smith, 26, of Conway Springs, was arrested around 3:50 p.m. Sunday on a Riley County District Court warrant charging him with eight counts of the sale and distribution of a controlled substance.

Kingman couple hospitalized after pickups collide
RENO COUNTY —Two people were injured in an accident just after 9 a.m. Saturday in Reno County. The Kansas Highway Patrol reported a 2023 Toyota Tacoma driven by Eddie E. Pinkley, 81, Kingman, failed to yield right of way at a posted stop sign and collided with a southbound 2022 GMC Sierra driven by Nicholas Robert Crockett, 46, South Hutchinson, at the intersection of Kansas 14 and U.S. 50 East Junction.
Kansas man hospitalized after semi overturns
KINGMAN COUNTY —One person was injured in an accident just before 11 a.m. Thursday in Kingman County. The Kansas Highway Patrol reported a 1997 Freightliner semi driven by Gustavo Alonzo Rodriguez-Gonzalez, 21, Wichita, was westbound on Kansas 42 at the Kansas 14 intersection. The driver failed to stop before turning onto Southbound K-14. He lost control of the vehicle and it overturned .
