Firefighter taken to hospital during Jefferson Co. fire
ADAMS, N.Y. (WSYR-TV) — Around 2:23 a.m. on Saturday, May 4, the Village of Adams Fire Department was called to a house fire at 9 West Church Street. When they arrived on the scene, which is two houses behind their station, firefighters saw a two-story, wood-frame house with heavy fire showing from the sides, said the Adams Fire Department.
Fire destroys Adams home
ADAMS, New York (WWNY) - An Adams home is considered a total loss after an early morning fire in the village Saturday. The 2AM call was to 9 West Church Street. Crews quickly arrived with flames and smoke showing. According to departments on scene, it appears the fire began at the back of the house and worked its way up to the roof.
North Country motorcyclist airlifted to Syracuse hospital after crash, troopers say
Adams, N.Y. — A North Country motorcyclist was airlifted to a Syracuse hospital after a crash on Thursday, troopers said. The crash happened between a motorcycle and vehicle at 4:45 p.m. on US Route 11 in Adams, said Trooper Jennifer Jiron, a spokesperson for the State Police. What type of vehicle was involved was not released.
