Friday Night Shooting Leaves Jersey City Man Dead
JERSEY CITY, NJ - A 24-year-old Jersey City man is dead after a Friday night shooting. According to Hudson County Prosecutor Esther Suarez, the Jersey City Police Department received a report of shots fired in the area of Pearsall Avenue and Garfield Avenue just before 10:00 p.m.CLICK HERE TO SIGN UP FOR THE FREE TAPINTO.NET NEWSLETTER Once on scene, responding officers located a male victim – later identified as Resheed Wallace, with an apparent gunshot wound to the upper body. He was transported to Jersey City Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead at approximately 10:25 p.m. The incident remains under investigation and no arrests have been made at this time.
