Science journalist presents research into toxic waste at Austin Master Services
MARTINS FERRY, Ohio (WTRF) – When flooding plagued the Ohio Valley in April, it left more concerns for Martins Ferry residents than their personal belongings. It left the risk of toxic materials to enter their water supply after Austin Master Services failed to clean up the illegal levels of hazardous waste in their facility, and residents have had increasing concerns.
Wheeling Central Softball Forces Do-Or-Die Game 3

Martins Ferry Council questions ODNR's commitment to hazardous waste cleanup
MARTINS FERRY, Ohio — A big topic at Wednesday’s Martins Ferry Council meeting was the Ohio Department of Natural Resources’ response to Austin Master Services. During the last council meeting, the city sent out a letter to different commissioners, senators, and other cities asking for help regarding getting Austin Master Services cleaned up. But its focus has been on the ODNR, which recently sent them back a statement.
