Kids can see robots and drones at free Bay County STEM Fest this weekend
BAY COUNTY, MI – The first Bay County STEM Fest is happening this Saturday, June 8, and will feature a drone cage, robots and dozens of free activities for kids. The event is planned for 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on the campus of Delta College, 1961 Delta Road. There, children in kindergarten through twelfth grade can explore more than 30 Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM) activities.
Hate mosquitos? Bay County voters can swat them away this November
BAY COUNTY, MI – If you hate blood-sucking mosquitos as much as the next person, you will have a chance to figuratively swat away the disease-spreading pests in November. A millage renewal to help fund Bay County Mosquito Control will be on the Nov. 5 ballot after the Bay County Board of Commissioners this week approved a resolution seeking to place the renewal on the general election ballot.

Several drivers caught speeding over 100 mph on I-75
MID-MICHIGAN (WJRT) - Police are asking drivers to slow down on I-75 after several people were caught on radar speeding in triple digits. Michigan State Police say the Third District Traffic Team was busy with speed patrol along I-75 in Mid-Michigan on Thursday. Troopers wrote tickets to several drivers speeding at more than 100 mph.
