Movie filming in Gladstone will impact traffic on Wednesday
Commuters traveling in Gladstone may encounter some impact on traffic late Wednesday and early Thursday, as a movie filming in the Portland metro will be shooting in the area. According to the Gladstone Police Department, the movie, “Night Always Comes,” will be setting up a staging area in Meldrum Bar Park during daytime hours on June 12.

The Rassekh Park skate park is complete and will be open to the public later this week. Meanwhile, the city continues to strategize construction of the rest of the park. 'The Music Man' set in Sherwood for July 19-20, July 26-28
The Sherwood Foundation for the Arts will present “The Music Man” on July 19-20, repeating it the following weekend on July 26-28 at the Sherwood Center for the Arts. The Meredith Willson classic musical tells the story of Harold Hill, a charming con man who poses as a boys’ band organizer and leader. Despite his plans to skip town with the money, he finds himself falling for the town librarian, Marian. The production is filled with memorable songs and heartwarming moments, telling a timeless story of redemption and love. Sandy Actors Theatre to hold auditions for comedy "Aboveboard"
At 6 p.m. Sunday, June 23, and Monday, June 24, Sandy Actors Theatre will audition hopeful thespians for roles in "Aboveaboard," written by Peter Bloedel and Emily Kimball and directed by Patrick Roth. "Aboveboard" follows the story of Nick who suspects his friend Milo who lives down the hall is pilfering his fridge. When Milo denies his allegations, Nick puts up a camera to investigate and uncovers a surprising secret.
