DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) — Six years after shutting down in the Miami Valley, Babies “R” Us is returning in a different way.

By the end of 2024, Babies “R” Us will set up shop inside of select Kohl’s locations across the country. In the Dayton area, the shops are projected to open at Kohl’s locations in Beavercreek, Huber Heights and Troy.

Before shutting all of its stores, Babies “R” Us operated in several locations like Beavercreek, Fairfield, Miami Township and more.

“We see significant opportunity in the baby gear category, and partnering with Babies “R” Us is another example of how we are finding new ways to optimize our assortment and further establish Kohl’s as the go-to brand for families,” said Tom Kingsbury, chief executive officer of Kohl’s.

Once the shop opens for business, between 750 and 2,500 square feet will be allotted for the new shop inside of Kohl’s stores.
