According to a news release, on Friday, May 3, 2024, Yucaipa Station deputies were dispatched to a local gas station where a victim was located with multiple lacerations and a stab wound from a knife. Victim No.1 was transported to a local area hospital by AMR for additional treatment. A short time later, deputies learned a second victim was at a local area hospital with multiple stab wounds.
