Chatham County officer rescues injured, dehydrated baby deer found in Pittsboro
PITTSBORO, N.C. (WNCN) – The Chatham County Sheriff’s Office was fawning over a baby deer that was found alone and injured on Friday morning. An employee with the Chatham County Planning Department discovered the tiny fawn just outside their office building in Pittsboro and reached out to the Chatham Sheriff’s Animal Resource Center for assistance.
