BATTLE CREEK, Mich. (WOOD) — A Battle Creek homeowner may face animal cruelty charges after shooting a stray dog on Saturday.

Around 3 p.m., officers with the Battle Creek Police Department were sent to Lathrop Avenue near Main Street after receiving an animal complaint.
