Improved Health Services in Talihina: Choctaw Nation Completes $8.5 Million Clinic Expansion
The Choctaw Nation of Oklahoma has completed an $8.5 million expansion and modernization project. This project focused on the Choctaw Nation Health Care Center’s Residency and Specialty Clinics in Talihina. Ten new examination rooms and four treatment rooms were added to the Residency Clinic. The Specialty Clinic also experienced a remodel and expansion. The aim of these improvements is to accommodate more patient appointments and reduce wait times. The new treatment rooms will also introduce services not previously available.
