S.C. man arrested after human remains found in burnt car amid search for his missing girlfriend
BAMBERG COUNTY, S.C. (TCD) -- Officials charged a 28-year-old man after he allegedly killed his missing 25-year-old girlfriend and tried to burn her remains. According to the Bamberg County Sheriff's Office, Megan Bodiford was last seen on Thursday, April 25, in Denmark, South Carolina. The South Carolina Law Enforcement Division (SLED) said several days later, on April 30, authorities found human remains in a burnt vehicle off of Turn Ray Road.
