Clinic on expunging criminal cases to be held May 10

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) — A free clinic on expunging past felonies or misdemeanors will be held next month, with local attorneys providing advice on a first-come first-serve basis.

The clinic, held by Cal State Bakersfield’s Legal Information & Support Clinic Program, is scheduled for 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. on May 10 at 2204 Q St.

Those attending must bring valid photo ID, case number, information on whether the case is a misdemeanor or felony, time spent in custody and information on pending or current charges. Attorneys will only evaluate Kern County cases.

Among the attorneys participating are H.A. Sala, David A. Torres, Alekxia Torres Stallings, Fatima Rodriguez and lawyers with the Kern County District Attorney’s and Public Defender’s offices.
