The Walker-Hackensack-Akeley boys’ golf team finished the Class A championship in second place, and while there, Parker Brock led the way for the Wolves. He didn’t have a single bogey on Wednesday, and only one single and one double the day before. He finished the tournament en route to the individual state title.

Last month, the Walker Area Community Center presented a new vision for the WACC to the Walker Youth Hockey Association and asked for financial assistance to help support operational expenses while new initiatives and sustainable practices are established. Rettke finishes in 14th place; Perucho 17th at State Track Meet
Vincent Perucho and Hayden Rettke’s first trip to the State Track and Field Meet last week was successful. The two 10th-graders both placed in their respective events with Rettke taking 14th place and Perucho 17th. Rettke had a vault of 12 feet on the pole vault, while Perucho jumped 40-04.5 feet on the triple jump.
4th annual Spirit Scramble is July 28 at Tianna
The fourth annual “Spirit Scramble” Golf Fundraiser, presented by St. Agnes and Sacred Heart Catholic Churches of Walker and Hackensack, will be held July 28 at Tianna Country Club in Walker.
