INDIANAPOLIS, IN - According to a press release issued by the U.S. Attorney's Office for the Southern District of Indiana, Anthony Porter, 36, of Indianapolis, has been handed an 11-year federal prison sentence after pleading guilty to charges of carjacking, discharging a firearm during a violent crime, and illegal possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.

According to a post by the East Chicago Police Department, 47-year-old Craig Jones was found dead Friday at around 6:41 a.m. Per the post, Jones contacted his family on Thursday, informing them that he would be working late at East Chicago Lighthouse Charter School.
