An undercover operation aimed at illegal drug sales in Henderson County and nearby regions has resulted in several indictments and arrests. The operation, led by the Drug Investigation Division of the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation and the Henderson County Sheriff’s Office, began in February 2022. It is a follow-up to Operation Big Red Ice I and II, which led to 51 drug-related indictments.
Greenfield School's Noah Wilson Crowned Weakley County Schools Spelling Bee Champion
Noah Wilson, an eighth grader from Greenfield School, won the title of Weakley County Schools Spelling Bee Champion. The competition was held at the Board of Education in Dresden and included twelve spellers from grades 5-8. Cadence Brundige, an eighth grader from Martin Middle School, was the runner-up.
