Fox’s Lawrence Jones Lays Into Biden Over ‘Unbelievable’ Commencement Address Touching on Race: ‘He’s Talking Like He’s a Black Man!’

Fox & Friends co-host Lawrence B. Jones laid into President Joe Biden over a Sunday commencement address at Morehouse College centered on race.
During his speech to the historically black college, Biden touched on a number of issues regarding race. Dozens of students in the audience silently protested U.S. support for Israel by turning their backs to the stage during the address.
“It’s natural to wonder if democracy you hear about actually works for you,” the president told the graduates. “What is democracy if Black men are being killed in the street? What is democracy if a trail of broken promises still leave Black communities behind? What is democracy if you have to be 10 times better than anyone else to get a fair shot? And most of all, what does it mean, as we’ve heard before, to be a Black man who loves his country even if it doesn’t love him back in equal measure?”
Jones called the clip of the president “unbelievable” and blasted him during multiple Fox & Friends segments on Monday.
“Just imagine that your parents have made all these sacrifices, you’ve made all these sacrifices, and you get to attend one of the top colleges in the country, and then you graduate, and then the moment that is a joyous time, you have the president of the United States telling you that you’re going to be shot in the street by cops, that you’re going to have to work 10 times as hard, and that the country doesn’t love you,” he said. “I mean, what time of nonsense if the president trying to pull off right now?”
Jones argued the commencement speech and race talk is part of a “desperation” effort to improve Biden’s polling with Black voters.
He accused the president of “using fear” and touching on experiences and subjects he has no clue about.
“How does he know? He’s talking like he’s a Black man. How does he know the experience?” Jones said.
