Mark your calendar for these spring plant sales

Spring is here, so it's time to drop a few bucks on some of the plants that will make your yards, patios and balconies pop.

• Save the date for these upcoming sales so your garden can stand out this year:

Trees Atlanta's 2024 Native Plant Sale : You can shop in-person on Saturday from 8am to 1pm at the Carter Center.

Historic Oakland Foundation Spring Plant Sale : Expect a selection of "interesting" and hard-to-find beauties from 9am to 2pm on April 13 (a members-only presale is set for April 12).

Willam Root House Spring Plant Sale : Diversify your gardens with a variety of native and "vintage" plants from 9am to 1pm on April 13 in Marietta.

24th annual Plant Sale & Expo : Hosted by the Master Gardener Volunteers of Cobb County, this two-day event offers locally grown plants, a yard sale for gently-used items and a chance to shop with more than 90 vendors from 10am to 4pm on April 19-20.

North Metro Atlanta Spring Plant Sale : Peruse a variety of native, ornamental and even edible plants from 9am to 3pm on April 20 in Alpharetta.

Zoo Plant Sale : Browse a selection of plants curated by Zoo Atlanta's horticulturalists from 8am to 2pm on April 20.

Spring Plant Sale at Callanwolde Fine Arts Center : Check out hundreds of plants over two days from 9am to 1pm on May 4 and 9am to 3pm on May 5.
