    Bulldogs stand out at National Guard Track and Field Invitational

    CIRCLEVILLE — Competing at the National Guard Track and Field Invitational at Circleville High School on Friday, a litany of Bulldogs were able to sit atop the podium in a stacked day for Athens. The team grabbed first place overall in girls competition while finishing second in boys competition.

    Boys Results

    In the 100 meter dash, Griffin Porter (12.13) placed second while Alex Pero (12.39) finished in fifth place.

    Tafari Smith (24.08) placed first in the 200 meter dash while Achilles Arthur (24.28) finished right behind him in second place.

    In the 400 meter dash, Enrique Ulloa (57.76) finished sixth while Damon Farmer (58.17) ended up in eighth place.

    Alexander Wotschka (2:00.93) would place first in the 800 meter run while Emerson Crowl (2:13.78) placed sixth.

    In the 1600 meter run, Prem Koshal (5:01.64) placed seventh while Abe Wooster (5:03.19) finished in eighth.

    In the 3200 meter run, Robert Layton (11:04.95) placed fourth.

    In the 110 meter hurdles, Lucas Anglin (17.41) would finish in third while Parker Kinnard (17.96) placed fifth.

    Anglin (42.17) would place first in the 300 meter hurdles with Jamil Burden (46.24) finishing in fourth.

    The 4x100 meter (43.55) and 4x200 (1:31.20) meter relay teams for Athens would both place first. The 4x400 meter (3:50.70) relay team would finish in third while the 4x800 meter (9:10.43) finished fourth.

    In the high jump, Parker Kinnard (5-6) placed third while Kaiden Bycofski (5-4) finished in fifth.

    Pero (20-1.5) would finish second in the long jump while Porter (19-3) placed third.

    In the discus throw, Alden Laipply (75-8.5) placed ninth.

    In the shot put, Braylon Bacon (39-2) finished in eighth while Owen Pankratz (35-4) placed 10th.

    Girls Results

    In the 100 meter dash, Raquel De Abreu (14.16) placed fifth while JuJu Anderson (14.28) finished in sixth.

    In the 200 meter dash, De Abreu (29.02) placed second while Anderson (29.43) finished in fourth.

    In the 400 meter dash, Gaewelyn Krisher (1:03.85) placed fourth while Emma Molde (1:08.51) finished in sixth.

    Sophia Szolosi (2:17.64) placed first in the 800 meter run while Samantha Layton (2:44.52) finished in fourth.

    In the 1600 meter run, Olivia Smart (5:30.71) finished in first while Margaret Nunemaker (5:38.72) finished right behind her and placed second.

    In the 3200 meter run, Landis Corrigan (11:52.13) placed first while Shelby Davenport (13:03.09) placed third.

    In the 100 meter hurdles, Eva Riley (19.03) placed fourth while Charlotte Myers (54.85) placed seventh.

    In the 300 meter hurdles, Alexa Reed (48.60) placed second while Myers (54.85) finished in seventh.

    The 4x100 meter (51.63) relay team finished in second while both the 4x200 meter (1:47.63) and the 4x400 meter (4:04.70) finished in first place. The 4x800 meter (11:25.36) team placed third.

    In the high jump, Abby Stroh (4-10) finished in second while Becca Metzler (4-4) placed fifth.

    Stroh (16-4.5) finished second in the long jump while Nunemaker (14-3) placed sixth.

    Ruby Krisher (10-0) placed first in the pole vault while Riley (8-0) placed fourth.

    In the discus throw, Isabella Bowser (60-4) placed ninth while Kayli Kuhlman (36-10.5) finished in 10th.

    In the shot put, Malia Howell (27-9.5) placed sixth while Lacean Waters (21-4) finished in 12th.
