ASBURY PARK, NJ - The Environmental Shade Tree Commission (ESTC) celebrated Arbor Day with a promising start to their "Make Grand Avenue Green & Grand Again" campaign, planting five new trees along Grand Avenue, with plans to add ten more in the near future. This initiative reflects a broader commitment to environmental stewardship and enhancing the aesthetic and ecological value of the community.

Tom Pivinski, Chair of the ESTC, emphasized the significance of Arbor Day as more than a tradition—it's a pledge to protect and enhance our natural surroundings. "Investing in tree planting is an investment in our environment and the collective well-being of our community," Pivinski stated. He expressed profound gratitude towards the ESTC volunteers, whose dedication plays a crucial role in transforming Asbury Park into a greener, more vibrant place.
