City of Williston approves Renaissance Zone Application for Pizza Ranch, expected to begin construction next month
City commissioners Tuesday approved a Renaissance Zone Application for the restaurant, which would be located between the Grand Williston Hotel and Starbucks on 2nd Avenue West.
JE Dunn officially named Construction Manager at-risk for Williston Elementary School
WILLISTON, N.D. (KUMV) - The Williston Basin School Board has approved JE Dunn to be the Construction Manager at-risk for the Williston Elementary School building. A Construction Manager at-risk is required by North Dakota Century Code to handle construction projects for public entities. Their role is to work with the architect and the district to assist facility construction.

WILLISTON – Jamestown Blue Jay baseball took a step toward an automatic WDA tournament quarterfinal berth before Williston made the Jays take a step back. Jamestown and Williston split a doubleheader Thursday, with the Blue Jays winning game one 12-3 and the Coyotes taking the second game 10-0 in five innings at Ardean Affedt Stadium.

WILLISTON, N.D. (KUMV) - A piece of history made its way through Williston during the Band Day Parade on Saturday. The Fort Union Association unveiled a 2/3 scale keelboat to spectators. The “William H. Ashley,” is a model of the boats traders used to travel along the Upper Missouri River System in the early 1800′s prior to steamboats.

WILLISTON, N.D. (KUMV) - Students at Williston Middle School Central Campus got an opportunity to see themselves on the big screen at the Grand Theater Thursday. Members of the Media Arts class were given the red carpet treatment to premiere their movie “The Lost Trophy.” With the help of The Film Dudes, a group of filmmakers from Minot, they put together a short film blending mystery and comedy.
