SENECA, S.C. (Feb. 19, 2026) – In its first day ever hosting the Major League Fishing (MLF) Bass Pro Tour (BPT), Lake Hartwell surprised a few anglers. For some, that curveball wasn’t so welcome. But for pro Ott DeFoe of Blaine, Tennessee, who leads after Day 1 of O’Reilly Auto Parts Stage 2 Presented by Lowrance, his success came as a pleasant surprise.

Creative taco concept to take over former Mr. Crisp spot in Greenville
It has been 11 years since Nick Thomas first brought his creative taco concept to Greenville. Then, in 2015, Automatic Taco was an opportunity for Thomas to test the waters of running his own food business, a chance for the classically trained chef to showcase his skills with tacos as his canvas. Now, Thomas is growing his brand. He will open a new Automatic Taco location in the heart of the Overbrook neighborhood, in the space formerly occupied by Mr. Crisp . The new location, slated to open later this month, will consolidate the elements that have made Automatic Taco a Greenville staple and add new elements as well. “It will be the same bones, same foundation, but we will have some more interesting foods we can experiment with,” Thomas said of the new location. Thomas had been looking for space to expand his brand for a few years, he said, but to no avail. The space in Overbrook is appealing for a few reasons: its location in a dynamic neighborhood and its affordability. What will the interior of Automatic Taco look like?
