A Central Business District warehouse that specializes in Mardi Gras and theatrical costumes is closing its doors after 13 years of business in New Orleans. Southern Costume Company has manufactured and sold costumes from its 9,000 square-foot warehouse to film industries, Mardi Gras krewes and walk-in customers since 2011, according to its website.
