Severe storms to develop after 6PM | 5/1AM
LAWTON, Okla. (KSWO) - Another month and another day where it’s crucial that all Texomans stay weather aware this evening especially after sunset because of more storm develop into Thursday morning. Ahead of a dryline that will set up out west the environment for all severe weather hazards will be present (similar to yesterday). Sufficient supercell development will occur during the evening (starting after 6PM) with the storms moving east into Thursday morning (ending around 5AM).

Defense rests on day 6 in Marlow murder trial
DUNCAN, Okla. (KSWO) - April 30 was day six of the ongoing trial of Karen Pritchard, who’s accused of murdering 31-year old Ashley Anderson. Anderson who was said to be an employee for Pritchard. The defense rested its case on day six, and a verdict could come as soon as May 1.
Isolated storms tonight, higher chances for severe weather tomorrow night | 4/30 PM
LAWTON, Okla. (KSWO) - Good evening Texoma! Tonight, we will see isolated storms develop in the early evening hours. These storms will have the capability to produce low-end severe weather with the primary hazards being up to quarter-sized hail and up to 60 mph winds. The environment is not favorable for these storms to be long-lasting, so any storms that develop should quickly weaken as we head toward the overnight hours. Most of Texoma will miss out on the storm activity since they will be isolated, but it is still worth keeping an eye on the radar.

Lawton police make 2 arrests in connection to April 23 deadly shooting
LAWTON, Okla. (KSWO) - The Lawton Police Department has arrested two people in connection to the April 23 deadly shooting which ended with one person dead. Derrick Lyles and Jakievion Johnson were arrested and charged with first degree murder after the pair went to police to talk about the shooting, according to a LPD press release sent to 7News.

Storm damage cleanups underway in parts of Southwest Oklahoma
LAWTON, Okla. (KSWO) - Cleanup efforts are underway in parts of Southwest Oklahoma after the deadly storms wreaked havoc across the area. The National Weather Service confirms that at least 25 tornadoes touched down over the weekend, rating as an EF-3 or higher. Mercury and ATV collide killing one
A Friday night collision claimed the life of Max R. Galloway, 63, of Marlow following a collision near 2699 E. Osage Road approximately 1½ miles east of Duncan. The Oklahoma Highway Patrol reported that Galloway was driving a Polaris ATV and collided with a 1997 Mercury Cougar driven by Pamala R. Walls, 58 of Marlow.

Parts of West Gore to close for 4-lane widening project
