Central softball’s season ends in AHSAA 7A Final Four
OXFORD, Ala. (WTVM) - The Central Red Devils were one of the last four teams standing in the AHSAA 7A tournament. Central lost to Daphne, 8-1, on Tuesday morning to end its season. The Red Devils 42-game win streak was snapped by Thompson to begin state tournament play on Monday.

There's some new blood taking home the baseball blue map trophies this week in Jacksonville. The Alexandria Valley Cubs (32-9) won the 5A title, sweeping Mobile Christian. The Valley Cubs took game one Monday 2-1 and won game two Tuesday 8-4. It's the Valley Cubs first state title in baseball.
