Pursuit ends with ‘several police units’ hit on I-65 at Daniel Payne Drive
BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (WBRC) - A pursuit that began in Vestavia Hills Friday morning ended when the suspect hit multiple police vehicles at Daniel Payne Drive off Interstate 65. Vestavia Hills police attempted a traffic stop at 3:25 a.m. when the driver refused to stop. The pursuit led police to mile marker 266 on Interstate 65 SB.
