    Anniston police investigating 2 shootings

    ANNISTON, Ala. ( WIAT ) — The Anniston Police Department is investigating two shootings that left a combined four people, including a 3-year-old, injured.

    According to the APD, officers responded to the 3300 block of Eulaton Road in reference to multiple gunshot victims around 7:30 p.m. Monday. Upon arrival, officers found a 3-year-old, 28-year-old and 23-year-old suffering from gunshot wounds.

    The 23-year-old was treated at Northeast Alabama Regional Medical Center. The 28-year-old was flown to UAB Hospital for treatment, and the 3-year-old was taken to Children’s of Alabama. All three victims are considered stable.

    APD officers responded to the intersection of Brown Avenue and W. 15th Street around 12:20 a.m. Wednesday on reports of a gunshot victim. Upon arrival, officers found a 20-year-old man suffering from a gunshot wound. He was taken to Grady Memorial Hospital in Atlanta and is expected to recover.

    Anyone with information on the shootings is urged to call the APD at 256-240-4000.
