Three Notch Medical Center adds third nurse practitioner to staff

Three Notch Medical Center PC welcomes the addition of Stephanie E. Hattaway CRNP to its staff.

Mrs. Hattaway, a 1996 graduate of Opp High School is glad to return home after a 23 year hiatus. After her nursing degree and years of clinical experience she went back to school and graduated from The University of South Alabama with a masters degree in Family Practice Nursing.

Mrs. Hattaway started working in the emergency department at Baptist Hospital and was promoted to the quality assurance coordinator position.

Missing direct patient contact she took a position in wound management and was the initial director of the Baptist Hospital hyperbaric and wound care center. She was then promoted to be the director of nurses at a Baptist Hospital owned nursing facility. She worked at Baptist Hospital in Pensacola for 15 years. After getting her advanced nursing degree and becoming a certified nurse practitioner she worked for Sacred Heart Hospital in primary care, her true love, since 2018. Her special interests are thyroid disease and diabetes.

Mrs. Hattaway is married to her teenage sweetheart, Jeremy Hattaway, for the past 27 years. They have two children, Asley who will enter LBW in the fall, and Andrew age 16 who plans to attend Kinston High School in the fall.

Mrs Hattaway enjoys boating and fishing and is looking forward to having her family together at their home on Point A, where she and Jeremy are building a new home.
