Iowa State women's basketball on hosted a potential new addition to the Cyclones' 2024-25 roster recently.

Oregon State sophomore guard transfer Lily Hansford visited ISU's campus and posted pictures in the team's uniform on her social media on Monday. It was her first visit since entering the NCAA transfer portal on April 11 .

The Green Bay, Wisconsin, native started only two of her 59 games played with the Beavers over the last two seasons but developed into a 3-point sniper this winter. She averaged 5.1 points and shot a staggering 44.9% from deep on 3.1 attempts per game, and increased her scoring to 6.5 PPG in the postseason.

Such marksmanship could fit extremely well with Iowa State's roster, which shot a Big-12-Conference best 38.3% from behind the arc in the 2023-24 season.

Hansford is one of eight OSU players to enter the portal this offseason.

Head coach Bill Fennelly and his staff have already secured commitments from TCU transfer Sydney Harris and Marquette guard Kenzie Hare .
