Area athletes rack up conference titles at Gopher Conference meet
The Gopher Conference hosted its 2024 conference meet at Maple River High School over the weekend. New Richland-Hartland-Ellendale-Geneva led area teams, with the girls team finishing as the runners-up with 99 points, and the boys finishing third with 71 points. BEA girls first, boys third at BSC golf meet
The New Ulm Country Club was the site of the Big South Conference East Division Girls Invitational which was held on Monday, May 6. Winning the six team 18-hole tournament was Blue Earth Area with a team score of 359. Placing second, 32 strokes behind the Bucs, was Fairmont with 391. Waseca finished third with 414, St. Peter was fourth with 432, New Ulm came in fifth with 479 and Jackson County Central placed sixth with 520.
