Carpet Tech team serves up burgers to Amarillo Police Department for National Police Week

AMARILLO, Texas (KAMR/KCIT) — On Tuesday afternoon, Carpet Tech provided meals to 150 members of the Amarillo Police Department precinct at 200 SE Third Avenue to honor and support law enforcement during the 2024 National Police Week from May 12 to May 18.

“At Carpet Tech, our mission extends beyond cleaning floors; it’s about making a personal investment in our community,” Melinda Pharies, owner of Carpet Tech expressed. “Caring for others is ingrained in our company’s DNA, and it’s the reason we’ve been proudly serving our customers for nearly three decades.”

Officials with Carpet Tech noted that the week gives community members the chance to recognize and “pay homage to those who made the ultimate sacrifice in the line of duty.”

During the event, the team at Carpet Tech cooked and served burgers to law enforcement to give back and support those who protect the community, officials added.
