Potential wet and stormy weekend

This morning started out cloudy, damp, and cool, followed by a partly sunny sky this afternoon. Temperatures today should warm back into the upper 60’s and 70’s. Also, as of this writing, widely scattered thunderstorms will be possible during the late afternoon and evening hours. Any storm that forms could pulse strong to marginally severe with pockets of hail, high winds, and heavy downpours. The tornado threat will be very low, but not completely absent. Please stay Weather Aware, if a storm is near your location. Seek shelter until it moves away.

Tomorrow looks like it will continue to be mostly cloudy, damp, and cool with scattered showers and embedded thunderstorms. Temperatures will be running only in the 60’s and low 70’s. The chances of rain will be 50% for any one location. As of this writing, limited severe thunderstorms are possible. Continue to stay Weather Aware, if a storm is near your location.

Sunday may start out with showers and embedded thunderstorms, but then turn mostly sunny during the afternoon. High temperatures should top out in the 70’s.
