Danville firefighters put out fire sparked from earlier blaze at Blue Ridge Fiberboard
DANVILLE, Va. (WSET) — A fire that wasn't quite put out at Blue Ridge Fiberboard was later extinguished for good by Danville Fire Department members. According to DFD, the fire started Sunday, and their crews had thought then it was gone. But Monday the department responded once more to Blue Ridge Fiberboard after remnants of the original fire were found still burning.
