Roxboro K-9 dies after stomach illness, police say
ROXBORO, N.C. (WNCN) — The Roxboro Police Department announced Saturday morning that K-9 Kilo died from his injuries early Saturday morning. Kilo suffered a medical emergency on Tuesday and was later diagnosed with GVD. He was rushed to Bahama Road Veterinarian Hospital for surgery. Kilo was later transported to NC State Veterinary Hospital where he received further treatment.
15 years later, Virginia State Police still working to locate missing Halifax woman
APPOMATTOX, Va. – May 16, 2024, marked 15 years since Halifax County resident, Hattie G. Brown, disappeared from a gas station in South Boston, Va. The Virginia State Police Bureau of Criminal Investigation’s Appomattox Field Office, with the assistance of the Halifax County Sheriff's Office and South Boston Police, are still actively pursuing the criminal investigation and seeking information from the public.
