Marlington to pick prom royalty May 4

Marlington High School has announced the members of its 2024 Senior Prom court.

The Dukes will celebrate prom Saturday at the Pro Football Hall of Fame in Canton , and the king and queen will be crowned at the dance.

Attendants

Emily Gainer – The daughter of Chad Gainer and Angela Higginbotham is a member of National Honor Society, French Honor Society, French Club, Character Counts Club and Ski Club. She played varsity volleyball and was a Duke Crew leader.

Gracie Henry – The daughter of Jeff and Lindsey Henry was on the varsity soccer team, and a member of the Ski and Snowboarding clubs.

Audrey Miller – The daughter of Ryan and Heidi Miller is a member of National Honor Society, Spanish Honor Society, and an executive member of Character Counts Club. She is a three-year captain on the varsity softball team, and a member of Duke Street Select Vocal Ensemble.

Alexandra Ritchie – The daughter of Michael and Jennifer Ritchie is a member of Student Council, Duke Crew, Character Counts Club and played varsity volleyball. She is a member of Duke Street select vocal ensemble, Drama Dukes and participates in community theater through Carnation City Players.

Janelle Swisher – The daughter of Dave and Amy Swisher is the senior class treasurer, member of National Honor Society, Spanish Honor Society, Character Counts Club and is co-leader of Fellowship of Christian Athletes. Swisher was a two-year captain of the varsity volleyball team, and plays volleyball for Infinity volleyball club.

Colin Cernansky – The son of Ryan and Kim Cernansky is a member of Spanish Honor Society and runs cross country and track.

Andrew Hall – The son of Hilliard and Cindy Hall is a member of the landscaping career tech program and was a varsity wrestler.

Dillan Hawthorne – The son of Matt and Elaine Hawthorne is a member of the landscaping career tech program, the Marlington chapter of the FFA, and is a captain of the varsity baseball team.

Carter Hill – The son of Katie Bosu was a varsity wrestler and is in the Robotics Club.

Ashton Mason – The son of Carrie Mason and Troy Fish is a member of National Honor Society, Character Counts Club and plays varsity baseball.
