Bill passed to rename Hinesville VA Clinic, honors four Liberty County Vietnam soldiers
LIBERTY COUNTY, Ga. (WTGS) — A bill to rename the Veterans Affairs Clinic in Hinesville after four Vietnam War Veterans was officially signed into law. The Veterans Affairs Community-Based Outpatient Clinic will be renamed the “John Gibson, Dan James, William Sapp, and Frankie Smiley VA Clinic.” The bill was introduced by Representative Buddy Carter and supported by all Georgia Congressional Delegation Members. In response to the bill passing, Carter sent WTGS this statement which in part reads quote:
