Colfax reviews aspects of skate park project
The Colfax City Council reviewed additional aspects of the proposed skate park on May 8, in an effort to continue the project’s progress. One aspect the council reviewed was an agreement with Placer County for an additional $130,000 in funding to be provided to the city to manage, distribute and track throughout the project. According to the staff report, the agreement also calls for a construction completion date of Dec. 31 and specifies the number of years the skate park is expected to be operated. The contract would have an expiration date of March 1, 2042.
