ALLEGANY, NY – The Village will be transformed into a musical haven on Saturday when BonaGany presents its "Nashville in the Village of Allegany" event, promising an evening of entertainment for locals and visitors alike.
Kicking off at 6 p.m., the festivities will feature an impressive lineup of talented artists spread across various restaurants along Main Street and, weather permitting, an outdoor venue at the Town Park and Fourth Street.
Admission is free. According to Bonagany organizers, the absence of cover fees at the participating venues will make Nashville in Allegany an accessible and inclusive event for all.
The musical journey begins at The Burton, 3 E. Main St., where Terry Bellamy will grace the stage with his blend of acoustic rock and blues from 6 to 9 p.m., followed by the soulful tunes of Jason Wedlock, performing acoustic rock, from 9:30 p.m. to 12:30 a.m.
At The Other Place, 91 W. Main St., The String Beings, a captivating bluegrass trio, will take center stage from 8 to 11 p.m.
The Hickey Tavern, 96 W. Main St., will reverberate with the energetic sounds of Punching Einstein and their unique brand of four-piece rock 'n' roll from 9:30 p.m. to 12:30 a.m.
Fusion on Main, 115 W. Main St., will set the mood with the smooth melodies of the Avalon String Band, offering a fusion of Jazz and Swing from 7 to 10 p.m.
For those seeking a more intimate setting, Hometown Bar & Grill, 68 W. Main St., will host Brian Ash and Pete Gilroy, an acoustic duo, who will serenade the crowd from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
For the ultimate street-side experience, event goers can catch Sticktights, Alex Cole, and Dave Dorson delivering electrifying performances on North 4th Street from 6 to 10 p.m.
In the event of tricky weather, ensuring that the show goes on rain or shine, Sticktights will relocate to The Hickey Tavern; Dave Dorson to The Other Place, and Alex Cole to Hometown.
Organizers advise that folk not "miss this opportunity to immerse yourself in the rich tapestry of live music in the heart of Allegany’s Village."
